| tailgate | The hinged rear door of a vehicle (like a pickup truck) that opens downward. |
| hardware store | Shop that sells tools, building materials, and equipment for home repair, maintenance, and improvement. |
| fond | adjective meaning to have a strong liking, affection, or warmth for someone or something |
| suspenders | Adjustable straps worn over the shoulders and attached to the waistband of trousers or skirts to hold them up. |
