TermDefinition
Gynecology The study of the female reproductive system and its diseases.
Gynecologist A physician who specializes in treating diseases of the female reproductive system.
Endometriosis A condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often causing pain and bleeding.
Cervicitis nflammation of the cervix.
Amniocentesis A procedure in which fluid is removed from the amniotic sac for testing, often used to check for genetic conditions.
