QuestionAnswer
Function is a built-in formula that helps you calculate or analyze data quickly in Excel
COUNT Counts cells with numbers on only
IF Returns a result based on a condition
COUNTIF Counts cells that meet one condition
COUNTIFS Counts cells that meet MULTIPLE conditions
SUMIF Adds numbers that meet ONE condition
SUMIFS Adds numbers that meet MULTIPLE conditions
VLOOKUP Looks for a value in a table and returns matching data
Cell Range A collection of two or more selected cells in a spreadsheet program. A group of contiguous or non-contiguous cells forming a block or selection.
Workbook vs. Worksheet A Workbook is the Excel file itself, which can contain one or more worksheets. A worksheet is a single spreadsheet page within a workbook, often referred to as a "sheet".
