| Glib | The salesman's glib answers made me suspicious." |
| Haphazard | The books were stacked in a haphazard pile |
| Improvise | If you forget your lines, you'll have to improvise." |
| Incite | "The speech was intended to incite a riot." |
| Influx | Think of a "flood" of people entering a stadium. |
| Pallor | paleness. Sounds like "pale." Usually happens when someone is sick or scared. |
| Pedigree | Often used for purebred dogs or royal families. |
| Precipitous | Imagine a cliff face that goes straight down. |
| Profuse | If you say "thank you" 50 times, you are giving profuse thanks. |
