| energy | the ability to make things move your change |
| energy storage molecule | a molecule that organisms can use to release the energy they need to survive |
| food web | a model that shows what an organism eats in an ecosystem |
| indirect effect | the result of one cause leading to an effect that causes one or more other effects |
| organisms | living things such as plants animals and bacteria |
| population | a group of the same type of organisms living in the same area |
| reproduction | the process of creating an offspring |
| resource population | a population that is eaten by the organisms from another population |
| stability | when something stays the same mostly over the same time |
| producer population | a population that is able to make their own food through photosynthesis |
| decomposer | organism that is able to break down other organisms and waste |
| parasitism | interaction in which one organism benefits and the other is harmed |
| mutualism | interaction between two organisms where they both benefit |
| commensalism | interaction in which one organism benefits and the other is not impacted |
| abiotic | not living parts from the environment |
| biotic | living parts of the environment |
