Hypothyroidism Underproduction of thyroid hormone; slows metabolism
Hyperthyroidism Overproduction of thyroid hormone; increases metabolism
Insulin Hormone produced by pancreas that lowers blood glucose
Adrenalitis nflammation of the adrenal glands
Lymphadenitis Inflammation of lymph nodes
Splenomegaly Enlargement of the spleen
Tonsillitis Inflammation of the tonsils
Lymphedema Swelling due to lymph fluid buildup
Thymectomy Surgical removal of the thymus gland
Myocarditis Inflammation of the heart muscle
Hypertension High blood pressure
Atherosclerosis Hardening of arteries due to fatty plaque buildup
Bradycardia Slow heart rate (below normal)
Angioplasty Procedure to open narrowed or blocked blood vessels
