Hypertension High Blood pressure
Atherosclerosis Buildup plaque in arteries
Hormone Chemical messengers that control body functions
Pituitary gland "Master gland" controls other glands
Thyroid glands Controls metabolism (how your body uses energy)
Adrenal glands Release stress hormones like adrenaline
Pancreas Helps control blood sugar
Tonsils Help fights infections in the throat
Spleen Filters blood and help fight infections
Thymus Helps develop immune cells
Lymph nodes Small glands that trap bacteria and viruses
Lymph fluid Clear fluids that carry infection-fighting cells
