TPACK A framework that shows how technology, teaching methods, and subject knowledge work together to support student leaning.
Content Knowledge (CK) A teacher’s understanding of the subject they are teaching, such as science, math, or history.
Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) A teacher’s understanding of how to teach students effectively using different instructional methods.
Technological Knowledge (TK) A teacher’s ability to use technology tools such as computers, apps, and digital platforms.
Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) Knowing the best ways to teach a specific subject so students can understand it.
Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) Understanding how technology can support the teaching of a specific subject.
Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) Knowing how technology can improve teaching strategies and classroom instruction.
Student Engagement The level of interest, participation, and involvement students show during learning.
Digital Learning Tools Technology resources such as Kahoot, Nearpod, or Google Classroom used to support learning.
Instructional Strategy A method a teacher uses to help students learn, such as discussion, modeling, or collaboration.
Differentiated Instruction Teaching that is adjusted to meet the different learning needs of students.
Interactive Learning Learning activities that require students to actively participate rather than just listen.
Formative Assessment A quick check for understanding used during a lesson to guide instruction.
Blended Learning A teaching approach that combines face-to-face instruction with online learning.
Technology Integration The purposeful use of technology to improve teaching and student learning.
