| Population | A group of the same type of organism living in the same area |
| Reproduction | The process of creating offspring |
| Resource population | A population ulstion that is eaten by organisms frome another population |
| stabity | when something stays mostly the same over time |
| Producer population | A population that is able to make their own food through photosynithesis |
| Decomposer | An organism that is able to break down other organisms and waste |
| parasitsm | Interaction in which one organism benefits and the other harmed |
| Mutualism | Interaction between 2 organism where they both benefit |
| Commensakism | Interaction in which one organism benefits and the other is not impcted |
| Abiotic | Not living parts of the environmetn |
| biotic | LLiving parts of the environ ment |
| Change | when something becomes different over time |
| Competition | when two more populations use the same resource such as the same food source |
| Consumer populatiojn | A Population that eats organisms from another poplulation |
| Ecologist | A scientist who studies the interactions of organisms with each other and their environment |
| energy | the ability to make things move or change |
| energy storage | a molecule that organisms can use to release the energy they need to survive |
| food wev | A model that shows what eats what in an ecosystem |
