| Autotroph | Is an organisms that can produce their own food. |
| Heterotroph | an organism that can't make its own food supply |

| Binomial nomenclature | formal naming system for living things that all scientists use. |
| Genus | Is a group of species that are closely related. |
| Species | Is a group of organisms that can reproduce naturally. |
| Prokaryote | Is a type of cell that does not have a true nucleus. |
| Eukaryote | Is any of the single-celled or multicellular organisms. |
| Nucleus | Are large organelle in eukaryotic organisms. |
