Classification

Organism Is a living thing that has an organized structure.
Cell Is the basic membrane-bound unit.
Unicellular Is an organism that consists of a single cell.
Multicellular Is a complex organism, made up of many cells.
Metabolism Is the chemical processes that occur within a living organism.
Stimulus Is anything that produces a response in an organism.
Response An action or movement due to the application of a stimulus.
Development Is how a living thing grows and attains maturity.
Asexual reproduction Is reproduction in which a new offspring is produced by a single parent.
Sexual reproduction Is the process in which new organisms are created.
Spontaneous generation Is an incorrect and obsolete hypothesis.
Autotroph Is an organisms that can produce their own food.
Heterotroph an organism that can't make its own food supply
Classification When you categorizing something or someone into a certain group.
Taxonomy Is a branch of biology that classifies all living things.
Binomial nomenclature formal naming system for living things that all scientists use.
Genus Is a group of species that are closely related.
Species Is a group of organisms that can reproduce naturally.
Prokaryote Is a type of cell that does not have a true nucleus.
Eukaryote Is any of the single-celled or multicellular organisms.
Nucleus Are large organelle in eukaryotic organisms.
