Light
| Term | Definition |

| Transparent | A type of material that transmits without scattering it |
| Translucent | A type of material that scatters light as it passes through |
| Opaque | A type of material that reflects or absorb all the light that strikes it |
| Diffuse reflection | Reflection that occurs when parallel light rays hit an uneven surface and all reflect at different angles |
| Convex | A mirror that curves inwards or lens that is thicker in the center than the edges |
| Focal points | The point at which light rays parallel to the optical axis meet after being reflected or refracted by a mirror or a lens |
| Cone ave | A mirror with a surface that curves inwards or a lens that is thin at the than at the edge |
| Compare | To tell the ways two or more things are alike and or different |
