Light

TermDefinition
Transparent A type of material that transmits without scattering it
Translucent A type of material that scatters light as it passes through
Opaque A type of material that reflects or absorb all the light that strikes it
Diffuse reflection Reflection that occurs when parallel light rays hit an uneven surface and all reflect at different angles
Convex A mirror that curves inwards or lens that is thicker in the center than the edges
Focal points The point at which light rays parallel to the optical axis meet after being reflected or refracted by a mirror or a lens
Cone ave A mirror with a surface that curves inwards or a lens that is thin at the than at the edge
Compare To tell the ways two or more things are alike and or different
