| cylinder | three dimensional shape charactirzed with a circular base and connect by a curved surface |
| edge | line segment that connects two vertices of a 3d shape |
| scale | a ratio that defines the proportional relationship between the measurements of an object |
| polyhedron | shape with flat polygonal faces, straight edges and sharp corners |
| vertices | the points where two lines or curves met |
| prism | two end faces are equal and are parallelograms |
