What is mass? mass is the amount of matter that makes up an object
What is force? force is a push or a pull
What is friction? friction is a force that causes objects in motion to speed up or to slow down when two surfaces rub together
What is speed? speed is a measure of how far an object moves in a certain amount of time
What is motion? motion is a movement, or a change in a objects position (The more friction present, the more an object in motion slows down)
What is position? position is the place where an object is located (the lighter an object, the less force you must apply to get it in motion)
What is gravity? gravity is a force that pulls things toward Earth
What are balanced forces? balanced forces are two equal forces acting in opposite direction. Because it is balanced the object does not move
What are unbalanced forces? unbalanced forces happen when one side has greater force in one direction. This will cause the object to move in the direction the greater force is going in
What is gravity vs air resistance?
