What do simple machines do? Make work easier.
What is mass? the amount of matter that makes up an object.
What is force a push or pull.
What is friction. a force that causes objects in motion to speed up or slow down when two surfaces rub together
What is speed. a measure of how far an object moves in a certain amount of time.
What is Motion? is a movement, or a change in an object's position.
What is position? the place where an object is located
What is Gravity? a force that pulls things toward earth.
Why would an object in motion slow down quicker? There is more friction present.
Why would an object be easy for you to get it in motion It is light.
What happens if more force is applied. The more energy is released
What are three things force does to an object Speed up slow down Change direction
Without force would an object move No, the object would stay still
Do balanced forces move No, they do not move
Do unbalanced forces move Yes, they do move
What car would go farther one with four people pushing it or two people pushing it. The car with four people will go farther
When do unbalanced forces happen. When one side has greater force.
If something has more mass what more is required to move it More force will move it
What are two types of forces. Push and pull.
