Force and motion

Simple Machines Simple machines make work easier
Mass Mass is the amount of matter that makes up an object
Force Force is a push or pull
Friction Friction is a force that causes two objects in motion to speed up or slow down when two surfaces rub together
Speed Speed is a measure of how far an object moves in a certain amount of time
Motion Motion is a movement or a change in an objects position
Position Position is the place where an object is located
Gravity Gravity is a force that pulls things toward earth
