Science vocab for lesson 1

TermDefinition
Biomass energy Energy that comes from organisms.
Biofuel Liquid fuel from biomass related sources.
Biopower Energy made through biomass combustion.
Geothermal energy Natural heat that is formed by high pressure and the breakdown of radioactive elements.
Ground source heat pump A temperature system that uses heat from the soil below.
