amendment a change or addition to a written document
assembly A group of people gathered together for a specific purpose
framework the basic structure of something
jury a group of citizens selected to listen to the facts of a trial in court and decide whether a person is guilty or not
laws a rule or set of rules by the government that citizens must obey
petition to make or present a formal request to an authority regarding a particular cause
representative a person who is chosen to act, speak or make decisions for another person or group of people
rights freedoms that are protected by law
voting to formally express a choice or opinion as part of a collective decision-making process
