Five Pillars of Islam Five acts of worship required of worship. 1. Submit to God; one God 2. Pray 5 times a day 3. Fasting from sunrise to sunset for your religion 4. Give to people less fortunate 5. You have to go to Mecca once in your life
Shariah Laws written from their society
Caliph A title that Muslims use for the highest leader of Islam.
Tolerance Respecting others, acceptance
Shia A member of the second largest branch of Islam.
Sunni A member of the largest branch of Islam.
Minaret A narrow tower from which Muslims are called to prayer.
