| Hubble Telescope | a space telescope that takes images of distant galaxies |
| Milky Way | the galaxy that contains our solar system |
| black hole | a region in space with gravity so strong nothing can escape |
| nebula | a cloud of gas and dust in space |
| exoplanet | a planet outside our solar system |

| thruster | a small engine used to control spacecraft movement |
