outlier data points that varies significantly from the rest of the data
symmetrical the shape that is perfectly symmetric and can be divided into two halves
right skewed has a tail extended to the right
left skewed has a tail extending to its left
bimodal has 2 modes
uniform data all the same or flat
probability likelihood of an event
impossible will never happen
certain will happen
equally probable/equally likely its equal if it will happen or not
unlikely probably wont happen
likely probably will happen
complement The opposite of an event, it includes all the outcomes that are not part of the original event
