QuestionAnswer
Median Is the measure of center, it is the middle of the data set.
Mode Is the measure of center, it is the value that occurs most often.
Range Is the measure of a variability, a measure that describes how the value in a data set will vary with a single number.
Interquartile Range (TQR) is a measure of variability. It represents the difference between the third quartile and the first quartile.
Quartile 1 The first whisker
Quartile 3 The third whisker
Symmetrical It can be divided into 2 half's. That mirror images.
right-skewed Has a long tail on the right
Left-skewed Has a long tail on the right
bi-modal Two models
Uniform Data is all the same symmetrical
Impossible Same events that will never happen because they are impossible
Certain Events that will definitely happen because they are certain
Equally Likely 50/50 shot, half way
Unlikely 0-1/2
Likely 1/2-0
Probability The likelyhood that an event will happen can be given number value, or probability...
Complement Of a statistical event is the opposite of the event. It includes all the outcomes that are not part of the original event.
