Likelihood
| Question | Answer |

| Certain | Other events will definitely happen because they are certain. |
| Unlikely | Unlikely events have probabilities greater then 0 but less then one half. |
| Likely | Likely events have probabilities greater then one half but less then 1. |
| Impossible | Some events that will never happen because they are impossible. |
| Equally probable | An event that is equally probable to occur or not to occur is exactly halfway between impossible (0) and certain (1) |
| Probability | Number of favorable outcomes/ Number of possible outcomes |
| Complement | The complement of a statistical event is the opposite of the event. |
