| Question | Answer |

| Impossible | Some events will never happen because they are impossible the probability of an impossible event is 0. |
| Unlikely | Closer to impossible, the probability is between 0-1/2. |
| Equally probable | An event that occurs or not to occur is exactly halfway between impossible and certain on the scale, the probability is 1/2. |
| Likely | They are closer to certain, The probability is between 1/2-1. |
| Certain | Other events will definitely happen, because they are certain, the probability is 1. |
| Probability | The extent to which something is probable; the likelihood of something happening or being the case. |
| Complement | The complement of a statistical event is the opposite of the event. |
