electrical energy a form of energy resulting from the flow of electric charges
static electricity the buildup of electric charges
electric discharge a sudden flow of negative charges from one object to another
electric current the continuous flow of electric charges through a material
electric circuit a path that electricity can flow through
closed circuit a complete electric circuit that allows the continuous flow of electric current
open circuit an incomplete electric circuit that prevents the flow of an electric current
series circuit a circuit with a single path for an electric current
parallel circuit a circuit with more than one path for an electric current
conductor a material that electricity can easily flow through
insulator a material that electricity cannot easily flow through
