| censure. | the formal disapproval of the actions of a member of Congress by the other members. |

| caucus. | an official count of the number of people in a country. |
| president pro tempo re. | the official who presides over the Senate in the vice president absences |
| implied powers. | powers not specifically granted to Congress by the us constitution that are suggested to be necessary to carry out the powers delegated to Congress under the constitution. |
