| Term | Definition |

| Senate | Has 100 people, has a 6 year term, and the person in charge is the Vice President or if absence then the President Por Tempore. |
| House of Representatives | Has 435 people, has a 2 year term, and the person in charge is the Speaker of the House. |
| Bicameral Legislature | Two houses becoming a law-making body. |
| Apportioned | To be seated in a seat in the House of Representatives. |
| Gerrymandering | A drawing that helps a political party. |
| Expulsion | A person getting removed because he did something bad. |
| Censure | A member of Congress disapproving another member actions. |
| Sessions | A meeting of Congress. |
| Caucus | Party leaders choosing party candidates for public office. |
| President Pro Tempore | When the Vice President is absence the President Pro Tempore is in charge. |
| Speaker of the House | The person in charge for the House of Representatives for 2 years. |
| Implied Powers | Powers not really given to Congress but they still have some. |
| Impeach | Charging a government official with something bad. |
