Legislative Branch
| Term | Definition |

| Senate | A group of 100 people, 2 per state of the Congress who help make laws for our government. |
| House of representatives | A group of 435 people based on population that help make our laws. |
| Bicameral Legislature | Consisting of two houses, as in a law making body. |
| Apportioned | To be distributed, as in the seats in the House of Reps. |
| Gerrymadering | The process of drawing congressional district line to favor a political party |
| Expulsion | The removel of a person from an institution, such as congress, for serious misconduct. |
| Censure | The formal disapprovel of the actions of a member of Congress by other members. |
| Sessions | Meetings of Congress |
| Caucus | Meetings of party leaders to determine one or more companies are on hand to disscuss opportunities with their firms |
| President Pro tempore | The official who procides over the Senate in the Vice Presidents absence. |
| Implied Powers | Powers not specifically granted to Congress by the U.S constitution that is suggested to be nesseasery to carry out the Powers delegated to congress under the U.S constitution. |
| Impeach | To charge a government official with misconduct |
| Speaker of the House | The presiding officer of the House of Reps. |
