| air mass | a large region of air that has a similar temperature and humidity |
| climate | the average weather pattern of a region over time |
| weather | the condition of the atmosphere at a given place and time |
| deforestation | the removal of trees from a large area |
| endangered | when a species is in danger of becoming extinct |
| extict | when a species has died out completely |
