| Median | the median is the measure of center .it is the middle data value |
| Mode | the mode is the measure of center .it is the value that occurs most often . |
| range | the range is a measure of variability .a measure describes how the values in a data set vary with a single number |
| interquartile range | the interquartile range is a measure of variability. it represents the diffrence between the third quartile and the first quartile |
| quartile 1 | the first whisker . |
| quartile 3 | the third whisker. |
| Symmetrical | they can be divided into 2 half's, that mirror images |
| right skewed | has a long tail to the right |
| left skewed | has a long tail to the left |
| bimodal | to modes |
| uniform | data is all the same ,symmetrical |
| impossible | some events that will never happen because they are impossible |
| certain | other events will definitely happen because they were certain |
| equally likely | 50/50 |
| unlikely | 0- 1/2 |
| likely | 1/2 -1 |
