PROXIMITY - Being near to something

PARIAH - A person who is hated and rejected by other people
SCRUPULOUS - Very careful about doing something correctly
POTENT - Very effective or strong
INCOHERENT - Not able to talk or express yourself in a clear way that can be easily understood
ARDOUS - Very difficult
OMINOUS - Suggesting that something bad is going to happen in the future
DEFIANCE - A refusal to obey something or someone
FUTILE - Having no result or effect; pointless or useless
