statistics

QuestionAnswer
median The measure of the center. The middle most of the data.
mean It is the average of the data.
mode The value that occurs the most.
range Range is how data sets in a value differ from greatest to least.
skewed left if the distribution has a long tail left it is skewed left.
skewed right if the distribution has a long tail right it is skewed right
symmetrical If the data can be dived in half and be very similar(not perfect)
uniform if the distribution is all the same.( flat)
IQR This represents 50% of the data.
outliners A viable point of the data far from the rest of the data.
Bi modal If the distribution of data has two modes.
MAD to discrible the verablity or how spread out the set of data is.
quartile 1 The first 25% marker of a box plot.
quartile 3 The 75% marker on a box plot.
probability The likelihood of something happening.
impossible There is a 0% chance of something happening.
certain There is a 100% chance of something happening.
equally probable/equally likely There is a 50% chance that something is going to happen.
unlikely There is a 1-49% chance that something is going to happen.
likely There is a 51-99% chance that something is going to happen.
sample size All of the number of data that you used.
complement this is the opposite of a event
