bimodal a distribution has two modes
uniform has no mode and are also considered symmetrical
mean absolute deviation a average distance that the data points in a set of data are from the mean
probability the chance that a given event will occur
impossible it can never happen
certain it will always happen
equally probable/equally likely something that is equally possible not to happen and to happen
unlikely having a low probability of occurring
likely having a high probability of occurring or being true
complement The number that is needed to fill in the rest of the whole
sample size the amount of the thing being measured
quartile 1 the point between the lower extreme and median
quartile 3 the point between the upper extreme and median
