| Median | Add all of the data points and divide by the number of data points |
| mode | value that occurs most often |
| range | measure of variability |
| interquartile range | a measure of variability from the first quartile and the third quartile |
| outlier | A value that is significantly smaller or larger than other observations |
| skewed-left | has a long tail to its left |
| skewed-right | has a long tail to its right |
| symmetricil | they do not have to have perfect symmetry can be divide and be mirror images of each other |
| bi-modal | has 2 bumps/humps |
| uniform | everything is flat or the same |
| mean | adding up all of the data points then dividing by the number of data points |
| mean absolute deviation | find the mean then subtract that from the data points find the new mean then divide by the number of data points |
| sample size | the amount of people that were part of a question |
| quartile 1 | median of first half |
| quartile 3 | median of third half |
| likely | between 1/2 and 1 |
| unlikely | between 0 and 1/2 |
| equally probable/equally likely | 1/2 chance |
| certain | ( 1 ) 100% right |
| impossible | never going to happen 0 |
| probability | the likely hood that something is going to happen |
