| Term | Definition |

| Median | The number that is I the middle. |
| Mode | the most frequent number. |
| Range | The measure of variability. |
| Inner Quartile Range | The measure of variability the difference between the 3rd Quartile and the 1st Quartile. |
| Outlire | The data point that varies significant from the rest of the data. |
| Skewed Left | has a long tail and extension to the left |
| Skewed Right | has a long tail and extends to the right. |
| Symmerrical | Is divided into 2 half's and dosent have to be perfect. |
| Mean | It is the measure of the center. It is the average of the data. |
| Bi-modle | The distribution of two models or humps. |
| Uniform | The distribution of data that is all the same or flat. |
| Mean Absolute Deviation | One way to describe the variability, or how spread out a set of data is. |
| Sample Size | The sample size describes the number of data points collected in the sample. |
| Quartile 1 | The section that is the first box in the rectangle. |
| Quartile 3 | the last section in the rectangle. |
| Probabliaty | The likeyhood that an event will happen can be given a number value. |
| Impossible | An event that will never happen. |
| Certain | An event that will happen. |
| Equal probabliaty | In between certain and and impossible, there is a likelyhood of it happing, |
| Unlikely | Something that is close to impossible. |
| Likey | Something that is close to certain. |
| Complement | The opposite of the event. It includes all outcomes that are not part of the original event. |
