Median The median is a measure of center.it is the middle data value.
Mode The mode is a measure of center. it is the value that occurs most often.A data set can have only one mode,no mode,or more than one mode.
range the range is the measure of variability
Sample size the amount of people that represent a big group
mean The average of the data set
interquartile range the range of Q3 and Q1
quartile 1 the first part of the box in box and whisker plot
quartile 3 The last part of the box and whisker plot
mean absolute deviation/M.A.D Mean absolute devation is the average distance from each data points in a set of data are from the mean
outlier a number that is very diffrent from the rest of the data set.
symmetrical Almost the same on both sides but doesn't have to completely correct on both sides
right-skewed the tail must be on the right side
left-skewed The tail must be on the left side
bi-modal if the graph has two bumps or two elevation
uniform When the data is all the same
probability likely hood of a event happening
impossible Not possible ever
certain Is going to happen
equally probable/equally likely It's chance is 1/2
unlikely between 0 and 1/2
likely Between 1/2 and 1
Complement The complement of a statistical event is the opposite of the event.It includes all the outcomes that are not part of the original event.
