| median | It is the middle data value |
| mode | The value that occurs most often |
| range | The difference of the greatest value to the least value. |
| inner quartile | represents the variability of the middle 50% of the data |
| outlier | Data point that varies significantly from the rest of the data |
| skewed-left | distribution has a long tail extending to the left |
| skewed-right | distribution has a long tail extending to the right |
| symmetrical | The shape is perfectly symmetric |
| bi-modal | two humps in the shape |
| uniform | data is all the same or flat |
| mean | It is the average of the data |
| MAD | Avg. Dist. that the data points in a set of data. |
| Certian | AN event will definitely happen |
| impossible | An event will definitely not happen |
| probability | The likely hood that an event will happen |
| equally probable | Could be either certain or impossible |
| unlikely | events are closer to impossible |
| likely | events are closer to certain |
| 1st quartile | the median of the first half of data |
| 3rd quartile | the median of the second half of data |
| sample size | describes the number of data points collected. |
| complement | is the opposite of the event |
