statistics terms

| median | the middle number in the set |
| mode | the number that appears most often |
| range | a measure of variability . |
| mean | is the measure of the center |
| mean absolute deviation | the average distance that the data points are spread out . |
| inner quartile range | the range of the middle |
| outlier | the number that sticks out and is very high. |
| skewed left | If the distribution has a long tail extending to the left |
| skewed right | If the distribution has a long tail extending to the right |
| symmertrical | the shape has a prefefecly symmetric |
| bi model | if the distribution has two modes. |
| uniform | all of the data is the exact same |
| sample size | the number of data points collected in a sample |
| 1 quartile | the meadain of the first half |
| 3 quartile | median of the second half |
| probability | the chance that something has to land on. |
| impossible | it will never happen 0 out of 1 |
| certain | it will happen 1 out of 1 |
| equally probable/equally likely | it will have a 50 out of 50 chance |
| likely | it is 1/2 out of 1 |
| unlickely | it is 0 out of 1/2 |
| complement | statistical event is opposite of the event. |
