greenhouse effect the trapping of heat near a planets surface
gas giant it is a name given to planets like Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Neptune
ring a thin disk of small ice and rock
asteroid belt the region of the solar system the orbits of mars and Jupiter where lots of astrod are found
kuiper belt a regon of an objet orbet the sun
oort cloud a spherical region of comets
comet a loose collection of ice and dust
coma a fuzzy outer layer of comet
nucleus the soled iner core of a comet
asteroid 1 of the rocky objects revolving around the sun
meteoroid a chunk of rock or dust in space
meteor a streak of light in the sky
meteorite a meteoroid that pases through earths atmosphere
