fittings small parts that connect hoses and equipment together
flashback arrestor a safety device that stops flame from traveling back into equipment
fusible plug a safety part inside a gas tank that melts at high temperature to release pressure
high pressure gauge a gauge that shows the pressure inside the cylinder
hose flexible tube that carries gas from the tank to the torch
low pressure gauge a gauge that shows the working pressure going out to the torch
manifold a system that connects multiple gas lines together
neutral flame a flame with balanced oxygen and fuel that burns cleanly
OFC (oxyfuel cutting) a process that uses fuel gas and oxygen to cut metal
orifice a small hole or opening where gas flows through, such as in a cutting tip
