What is nectar? A sugar, rich liquid in flowers that provides energy and nutrients
Why are animals attracted to flowers? Because of the color scent and nectar
How do animals help plants when they visit flowers Pollen stick to their bodies and is carried to other flowers
How does the plant benefit from pollinators Pollinator spread pollen, helping the plant reproduce
What do animals get from flowers? Nectar which provides food and energy
What are the statement and pistol? The statement is the male part that makes pollen, and the pistol is a female part that receives pollen
What happens after fertilization in a flower? Ovules becomes seeds and the ovary becomes fruit
What does the stigma do? It catches pollen because it is sticky
How do pollinators help plant plants? They move pollen from one plant to another
