anteroir pituitary gland

TSH- thyroid stimulating hormone stimulates growth of thyroid gland and stimulates it to secrete thyroid hormone (T3 and T4)
ACTH - adrenocorticotrophic hormone stimulates growth of adrenal cortex and stimulates it to secrete glucocorticoids (mainly cortisol)
FSH - follicle-stimulating hormone reproduction, eggs-female, sperm-male, follicle growth
LH - luteinizing hormone releases egg, ovulation, releases testosterone
GH - growth hormone growth and inc blood glucose
PRL - prolactin milk production and breast development during pregnancy
