What were the internal threats that made the Fall of Rome start? Food shortages, Disease, increase in taxes to pay for defense, Germans came for food and to farm abandoned lands, and German communities ignored to Roman emperor
What were the external threats that made the fall of Rome start? Tribes of fierce Germanic warriors attacked Rome's northern borders and Persian armies invaded the east.

Who was Theodora? Byzantine emperor's wife, was an actress before marrying Justinian, and a partner in rule
Where was Theodora? Byzantine Empire
When was Theodora? 527-565 AD and ruled for nearly 40 years with her husband
Why was Theodora a 2nd ruler? Encouraged husband to stay and fight, helped women and children, and to end government corruption
What did the other invaders do? However Byzantine emperors kept control of the core of their empire, modern day Greece and western Turkey and Constantinople
Where were the other invaders? Byzantine empire, Germans took lands to the west, Slavic people invaded the north, Arab Muslim invaders conquered Syria, Egypt, and North Africa, and Turks seized modern day Turkey and other areas
