rotation a spinning bodie on its axis

solstice the point where the sun is as far north or south as possible
satellite natural or artificial body that orbits a planet.
gravity A force of attraction between objects that is due to mass
lunar phases The differences in The appearances of the moon through out the month
eclipse an event in which a shadow of a celestial body cast on another body
umbra A shadow that blocks sunlight such as a conical section in the shadow of the moon or earth
penumbra the outer part of a shadow such as the shadow cast by a earth or the moon where the sunlight is partially blocked
tide A rise and fall in water levels in large bodies of water
tidal range the difference between the highest and lowest tides
spring tide A increased high tide, two times a month formed by a full and new moon
neap tide A tide of minimum that happen when the moon is third quarter
