organisational data and information security standards, policies and procedures

What does the Data Protection Policy refer to? Ensures data is collected, stored, and processed legally.
What does the Data Retention Policy refer to? Defines how long data is stored and when it should be deleted.
What is an AUP ? Acceptable Use Policy - Outlines proper use of data systems by staff.
What is the Information Security Policy? Protects data from unauthorised access and breaches.
What does the Access Control Policy determine? Determines who can access what data
What are the data standards? Data standards define how data should be formatted, stored, and described so that it is consistent, high-quality, and interoperable.
What is Meta data? A set of data that describes and gives information about other data.
