CAD Disease caused by narrowed coronary arteries

mmHg Unit used to measure blood pressure
min Unit of time equal to 60 seconds
sec Basic unit of time
temp Measure of body heat
Bundle of His Specialized heart fibers that transmit electrical impulses
Circle of Willis Network of arteries supplying blood to the brain
Frank-Starling law The more the heart fills, the stronger it contracts
Purkinje fibers Fibers that spread electrical impulses through ventricles
Korotkoff sounds Sounds heard when taking blood pressure
