Yes, you can own a ship through fractional ownership—and it’s becoming one of the most practical ways to enter the maritime investment space without needing millions of dollars.
Traditionally, ship ownership was limited to large corporations, shipping companies, or ultra-high-net-worth individuals because vessels are extremely capital-intensive assets.
Fractional ownership changes this model completely.
Instead of purchasing an entire ship, investors can buy a fraction (or “share”) of a vessel. These shares represent proportional ownership, meaning you are entitled to a percentage of the revenue generated by that ship.
