PULL FACTOR A social, political, economic or environmental attraction of a new area that

TEMPERATE ZONE includes climates like, Mediterranean, humid subtropical and marine west coast.
DEFORESTATION the destruction and removal of forest and its undergrowth by natural or human forces .
SERVICE An activity that is performed for a fee.
PARLIAMENTARY MONARCHY type of government is ruled by a queen, but all laws are passed and enforced by an elected parliament.
CAPITAL GOOD A productive resource consisting of human-made materials needed to produce goods and services.
DYNASTY A series of rulers from the same family.
ETHNIC GROUP A group of people who share a common culture and ancestry.
PHYSICAL FEATURE a natural quality of the Earth’s surface that includes land formations and vegetation zones.
DESERTIFICATION The loss of soil fertility and plant life
DIFFUSION The spread of people, ideas, technology and products among places.
HIGHLAND the type of climate that changes with elevation.
REPUBLIC a type of representative democratic government that is limited by a constitution in its' power over citizens. The United States is an example.
CONSTITUTION a body of fundamental principles according to which a state is to be governed.
ANARCHY is the absence of political authority, rule, order or common purpose.
