What did the Enabling act end? Weimar constitution and democracy
Were the communists allowed in the Reichstag during the vote to pass the enabling act? No
What was the enabling act? An act that gave Hitler the power to rule Germany without consulting the Reichstag for 4 years
When did president Hindenburg die? 2nd August 1934
Why was Hindenburg dying important to Hitler becoming Fuhrer? Because it meant that Chancellor Hitler was the natural successor to him to become leader of Germany, he held a referendum and found 90% of Germans agreed for him to become leader
Why did the German army not want to be associated with the SA? Because they viewed the SA as thugs and did not want to work with them
