Organism Living things
Habitat The environment a animal lives in that provides basic need for the animal to grow and reproduce
Biotic factor Parts of the habitat that interacts with living things.
Abiotic factor Non living parts of the organism habitat (water oxygen space rocks light temperature and soil)
Species A group of organisms that can mate with each other and make a off spring that can also mate to reproduce
Population All the members of one species living in a particular area
Community All the different populations that live together in a area
Ecosystem Organisms that live in one area with non living things
Ecology The study of how organisms interact with each other and their environment
Population density The number of individuals in an area of a specific size
Limiting factor An environmental factor the causes a population to stop growing or to decrease
Carrying capacity The largest a population that an area can support.
