Organism Living things
Habitat An environment that provides the things a specific organism needs to live, grow , and reproduce is called a habitat
Biotic factors Parts of a habitat that are or were once alive
Abiotic factors No living parts of an organism habitat water, oxygen, space , rocks , light , temperature , and soil.
Species A species is a group of organisms that can mate with each other and produce offspring.
Population All the members of one species living in a particular area.
Community All the different populations that live together in an area
Ecosystem Organisms that lives in a particular area , along the nonliving environment, make up an ecosystem. Organisms interact either each other and with their environment is called ecology.
Carrying capacity An area can support is called it’s carrying capacity
Population Density The number is of individuals in an area of a specific size.
Limiting factors An environment factor that causes a population to stop growing or to decrease in size
Competition When two species share a niche, one of their populations might be affected. The reason for this is
Symbiosis Is a third type of interaction among organisms.
Commensalism Is a relationship in which one species benefits and the other species is neither helped nor harmed
Mutualism Which is a relationship that in which both species benefits.
Parasitism is a relationship that invoke some organism living with, on , or inside another organism and harming it.
